Assistance with a Seasonal Worker visa
This visa allows entry into the United Kingdom (leave to enter) and gives the right to work to individuals sponsored to carry out specific unskilled work related to the cultivation of fruits, vegetables or other agricultural crops, as well as poultry farming. To qualify, your employer must be a licensed sponsor registered as an approved scheme operator.
The duration of the visa varies based on the type of employment:
- For employment in the horticulture/agriculture sector, the maximum duration is six months within each 12-month period;
- Work in the poultry sector begins no earlier than 2 October and ends no later than 31 December each year.
After the visa expires, the applicant must leave the United Kingdom.
