- If you reside in the United Kingdom;
- You are not married to a British citizen but meet the eligibility criteria;
- You are married to a British citizen and meet the eligibility criteria;
- Your child was born in the United Kingdom, or at least one of their parents is a British citizen;

- at least one of their parents has settled immigration status; or
- at least one of their parents is a British citizen.
